Mazama’s facilities are designed to support a simple, meaningful camp experience rooted in nature. Our rustic setting offers cozy cabins, open-air gathering spaces, and essential amenities that encourage campers to unplug and connect with the outdoors and each other. From shared dining areas to scenic trails, every part of Mazama is thoughtfully arranged to foster community, adventure, and a deep appreciation for the natural surroundings. While our accommodations are modest, they provide everything needed for a comfortable and memorable stay.

Amenities

Our camp’s amenities provide the perfect atmosphere for your church retreat. They strike a balance of comfort, rustic, and adventure, giving campers everything they need to relax, connect with friends, and have fun. Every detail is designed to make their experience unforgettable!

The Dining Hall

Non-commercial kitchen stocked with cooking, serving, and eating

Amenities:

Dining Hall Seating Capacity: 60 blue chairs
Commercial stove / oven / grill (gas)
3 refrigerators
2 large chest freezers
Cabinets available for food storagee
Folding tables (can be arranged to be accommodate group size)
Gas BBQ available for use
Includes garbage bags, cleaning supplies, and paper towels

The Kitchen

The Chapel

Circular building in the center of the grounds

Details:

Folding chairs can be arranged as desired to seat approximately 70 people
Large stage with podium and a chalkboard
Mounted projector to wall screen above seating (laptop computer not provided)
Windows open to allow cross-breeze. Fans are available!
This building can also be used as the activity room (ping pong table, foosball, etc)

** Important Notes **

There is no WiFi available at the Chapel and across camp.
If preferred, the Mazama Community Church can be reserved for an additional fee.

The Shower House

Amenities:

2 toilets
2 shower stalls
2 sinks

The Shower House is shared by both Pinewood & Pine Cone Cabin.

Small Restroom

Our Small Restroom includes 1 toilet, 1 urinal, and 1 sink.

Lodging

Our cabins offer the perfect blend of comfort and community, giving campers a cozy home away from home while they experience all that camp life has to offer. Each cabin is thoughtfully designed to be a peaceful retreat after a full day of adventure—complete with comfortable bunks, inviting common areas, and a welcoming atmosphere that encourages laughter, late-night conversations, and lasting friendships.

What makes our cabins truly special is the sense of connection they foster. Whether campers are sharing morning devotionals, swapping stories after lights-out, or simply enjoying the quiet of nature right outside their door, the cabins become more than just a place to stay—they become part of the memories that bring people back year after year.

The Duplex (Whispering Pines)

A covered porch which runs along the front of the cabin. Three steps up to separate entrances.

The Boys Cabin (Pine Wood)

Dormitory style cabin

Our Pinewood Cabin is divided into two sections by wall with door.

Front Section: Sleeps 16 people
- Wood frame bunk beds
- Top bunk has wood side railing.
Back Section: Sleeps 8 people
- Metal frame bunk beds
- Top bunk has wood side railing.
- Wood burning stove for winter use

The Girls Cabin (Pine Lodge)

Downstairs (Commons Area):

Kitchen: includes an electric stove, fridge with upper freezer, double stainless-steel sink, microwave, and coffee maker, small counter space, dish draining racks. The cabinets contain miscellaneous dishes, serving, and cooking supplies.
Dining area: wooden table with chairs to seat 8 people
Wood stove: fire wood is stacked on the front porch
2 bathrooms:
- 1 single: toilet, sink, shower (contains locking door)
- 1 larger bathroom with 2 toilet stalls, 2 showers, and 2 sinks

Sleeping Areas:

Right Side: (one step up)

- Sleeps 12 people
- Metal bunks with foam mattresses; top bunk has wooden side rail
- Exterior door for emergency exit
- Two windows with curtains

Left Side: (one step up)

- Sleeps 8-9 people

Upstairs Loft (exterior stairs -- 18 beds): Large open room that can be divided into two sections

RV & Tent Sites

Each have water, power, and septic

Amenities:

5 sites with full hook-ups (varying sizes)
1 small site level for tent, but no hook-ups (directly behind Pine Lodge)

There are 6 RV and tent sites.

Fun Activities!

From diving into the pool like these campers to running around The Field, every day at camp is filled with fun, friendship, and opportunities. Our Blacktop and Field are alive with laughter as campers play games, run, and cheer each other on—learning the value of teamwork and encouragement along the way. Volleyball matches bring out both friendly competition and a spirit of unity, reminding us that when we work together and lift one another up, everyone wins.

Archery and swimming offer campers the chance to enjoy God’s creation in meaningful ways—whether they’re focusing on the target with steady hands or feeling the refreshing water on a warm summer day. Each activity invites campers to grow in confidence, gratitude, and fellowship, creating moments where faith and fun come together in the best possible way.

The Blacktop

The Blacktop is where energy runs high and laughter echoes across every game.

Whether it’s kickball, four square, or a spontaneous group challenge, there’s always something happening here. It’s a place where kids jump in together, build faith, and learn what it means to encourage one another. Even in the middle of the fun, they’re growing in kindness, teamwork, and joy.

As they encourage one another and play as a team, they live out “Love one another” (John 13:34) in simple, meaningful ways. It’s a place where fun and friendship grow side by side.

The Archery Range

At the Archery Range, kids get to slow down, focus, and try something new side by side.

With encouragement from friends and counselors, every shot becomes a shared victory. Whether they hit the target or not, they’re building confidence—and lifting each other up along the way.

It’s a natural place to remember “Let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us” (Hebrews 12:1)—even when it takes a few tries. Every moment here builds confidence and trust in God’s guidance.

The Swimming Area

The Swimming Area is the perfect place to cool off, splash around, and enjoy carefree time together.

From group games in the water to relaxing on the shore, there’s something for everyone. Kids bond over cannonballs, races, and endless giggles, all while soaking in the beauty of God’s creation. It’s where joy feels endless and friendships grow deeper.

As kids relax and recharge, they’re reminded of “This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it” (Psalm 118:24). It’s a place where joy overflows and friendships deepen.

The Ampitheater

Our outdoor Ampitheatre is a special gathering place with log benches and 2 outdoor light poles with power.

Here, campers share songs, skits, and stories, often laughing and cheering each other on. It’s also where we pause to reflect, worship, and learn more about God in a meaningful, memorable setting. Sitting side by side on the logs, kids experience what it feels like to truly belong.

It’s also where we worship and grow, reflecting on truths like “Where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them” (Matthew 18:20). Here, kids experience community, connection, and God’s presence in a powerful way.

Snack Shack

First Aid & Registration Building

For Registration:

Medicine cabinet stocked with routine First Aid items to be used as needed.
Portable First Aid kids available for hiking.

Campers need to "check-out" equipment and return neatly!

The Field

The Field is wide open for adventure, teamwork, and big group games.

Whether it’s soccer, capture the flag, or something brand new, kids learn to work together and support one another. It’s a space where they can run free, celebrate victories, and practice good sportsmanship. Through it all, they’re reminded of the joy of community and the value of lifting each other up.

It’s a great place to live out “Do everything in love” (1 Corinthians 16:14)—on and off the field. Every game becomes a chance to grow in character and community.

Gaga Ball

Gaga Ball is fast, fun, and full of excitement from start to finish.

Kids jump into the pit together, dodging, striking, and laughing the whole time. Every round is a chance to show fairness, encouragement, and respect for others. It’s friendly competition at its best—where everyone is included and every moment is shared.

It’s a fun way to remember “Be kind and compassionate to one another” (Ephesians 4:32). Every round is filled with energy, joy, and shared moments.

Gutterball

Gutterball brings campers together for fast-paced, head-to-head fun with plenty of cheers from the sidelines.

Players use skill and strategy while friends gather around to encourage and celebrate each other. It’s a great reminder that competition can still be kind, supportive, and full of joy. Every match is packed with laughter, connection, and moments that bring campers closer together.

It’s a great reminder of “Encourage one another and build each other up” (1 Thessalonians 5:11). Whether playing or watching, everyone is part of the fun and connection.

Volleyball

Volleyball invites campers into energetic, team-centered play filled with movement, laughter, and connection.

Players work together to serve, set, and spike, having fun and supporting one another with every rally. It’s a space where effort matters, teamwork shines, and every player has a role to play.

The game also serves as a reminder that “Two are better than one… If either of them falls down, one can help the other up” (Ecclesiastes 4:9–10). Whether on the court or cheering from the sidelines, volleyball brings campers together in a spirit of unity and fun.
